Ryan and the guys from The Madison Arm played last night at the Beehive Tea Room down town. That place is so hip, I can't believe I never knew it existed. The mis-matched furniture is super rad, and the rooms are decked out from floor to ceilings with monochromatic colored books and great framed art. The sugar cookies and scones were amazing, and as I left there last night, I decided I want to make a regular appearance there. Maybe Ryan could write some songs and I could read a book, all while sharing a hot pot of herbal tea. It sounds quite nice.
My sister Jennie never fails to disappoint me with the most random and entertaining websites and photos. Today's item: the many adventures of a couple of dead flies. Awesome.
Oh Conan, I love you. Last night I laughed until I was blushing (yes - I have a "slight" crush on conan). I just wanted to declare my side... I am with Team Coco.
I've discovered something about myself that I had long forgotten. I love to read. And it has been years and years since I got addicted to a good book. I am not sure what caused me to pick it up again, but I have become quite obsessive about it as of late. I have been gobbling up book after book that people suggest my way, and have just finished my lastest recommendation.
So - I am looking to all you avid readers out there, to line me up with some good reads. What are your top five?
Ryan and I watched these over the holiday break... and you should too. Does anyone have any other good movie recommendations for me? Being unable to hit up the theaters now that I tow around 2 little ones - I miss all the good releases. I'm trying to catch up.
