hello again

I've discovered something about myself that I had long forgotten. I love to read. And it has been years and years since I got addicted to a good book. I am not sure what caused me to pick it up again, but I have become quite obsessive about it as of late. I have been gobbling up book after book that people suggest my way, and have just finished my lastest recommendation.

So - I am looking to all you avid readers out there, to line me up with some good reads. What are your top five?

Depending on what kind of books you like, but I'd STRONGLY recommend reading East of Eden. Such a great book. Ange read it recently and she loved it. I'm trying to read Tale of Two Cities right now, and it's losing me... anyway, try E of E.

Kinda random I posted here...I was just looking for posts about the chocolate, and can't pass up a good book-post.

I love reading too. I don't have a top five, but I recently finished the Hunger Games by Suzanne Colllins and it was really good. Book 2 of that series is out (haven't gotten to it yet), and book 3 will be out this summer I think.

I second the Hunger Games series. Someone recommended Time Traveler's Wife to me and I'm about to start that. Also, anything by Jodi Picoult.

I'll second East of Eden (maybe my all-time favorite book) and Life Of Pi.

Also:

The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Klay (Michael Chabon)
High Fidelity (Nick Hornby)
Light In August (William Faulkner)
A Heartbreaking Work Of Staggering Genius (David Eggers)
The Curious Incident of the Dog In The Night-Time (Mark Haddon)

and a little lighter
Me Talk Pretty One Day (David Sedaris)

right now we're reading
The Elegance of the Hedgehog (Muriel Barbery) and it's pretty good.

Sorry. That's a lot.

The Help
The Hunger Games
The Secret Life of Cee Cee Wilkes
The Thirteenth Tale
