Happy Father's Day to the ones we love the most.

Ryan couldn't be loved more by me and the boys. He is the best dad in every way.

My own cute dad is in Arizona right now for my grandfather's funeral. We were unable to attend, and are sad we are not there. But I just want him to know I love him to the ends of the earth and back. And the boys are eager to hang out with him and help in more in the garden when he returns home.

As for Ryan's Dad, the same can be said. "Papa T" we adore you. I feel so luck to be close to both sets of our parents. The boys really are spoiled rotten that way.

Josh Ritter is playing tonight at The State Room.

My grandpa Leigh passed away today.

I was looking through my box of letters from him. He never missed a holiday or event in my entire life - the same with Jack and Cash. His letters were always typed on a typewriter, with his great scratchy signature at the bottom. He was always telling me to kick my brother's in the shins, but hug my sisters. Or when he sent a present, he would often remark that "it wasn't much, but it was better then a poke in the eye". For as long as I can remember, he wore these great blue jumpsuits, which always had a pack of tic tacs in one of the chest pockets. He had the best voice, deep and raspy. He was such a great man, and I am going to miss everything about him.
