Today we went to see the new Oquirrh Temple. The temple sits on the top of this hill that overlooks the valley - it is hard to miss when you are driving past on the highway - especially at night when it is like a ball of fire on the mountain since the surrounding area is mostly hill.
The attention to every last detail is incredible. My favorite things were the seemingly vintage inspired stars and circle borders in the etched windows and wall glass. The fabrics on all the chairs were so hip and the ceilings have all this great circle gold detail to it that mimic the wall glass. I just thought the overall colors from the fabrics to the wood and wallpaper were gorgeous.
The bridal room had these gold mirror vanities that resembled the same star as on the windows with large floral upholstered chairs in front, and each vanity was flanked with stunning crystal wall sconces. It was so amazing.
You should all go see it before it is dedicated.
Of course Jack and Cash's favorite part was the water fountain out front. Figures.
